WILSON & MUIR BANK PURCHASES WEB@WORK FROM CSI
PADUCAH, Ky. – (October 21, 2008) – Wilson & Muir Bank & Trust in Bardstown, Kentucky, recently signed contracts to purchase CSI Web@Work®, a corporate Intranet developed by Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI).
With 11 locations, Wilson & Muir Bank & Trust (WMBT) is the third oldest bank in the Commonwealth. The bank’s heritage and tradition of personalized customer service have allowed WMBT to experience sustained growth for nearly 150 years.
Despite WMBT’s historical roots, the bank continuously adopts new strategies and solutions to provide customers and employees with added conveniences. In fact, several years ago WMBT developed an Intranet to improve employee communication and create a central location where employees could view bank policies. However, the bank soon discovered that its long-time data processing partner offered a better, multi dimensional Intranet solution.
“We have been with CSI since 1974, so we’ve seen the company’s dedication to developing and releasing innovative products first-hand,” said Frank Wilson, President and CEO at WMBT. “A few months ago we decided that our bank’s Intranet did not achieve the results we expected, so we looked into purchasing CSI’s Web@Work. After one demonstration, we discovered the vast number of features Web@Work offers and were excited about the potential and possibilities this Intranet solution could bring to WMBT.”
Specifically, WMBT plans to use Web@Work’s Time Clock feature to track employee vacation and personal days. The bank will also use the Intranet to automate processes including training and tracking sales referrals. Most importantly, WMBT will use Web@Work as a board portal to safely and securely communicate with and transmit information to directors.
According to Bill Evers, CSI Director of Business Development, WMBT’s purchase of Web@Work demonstrates CSI’s commitment to developing new, practical technologies for today’s bankers. “CSI has been proud to provide data processing services to WMBT for over 30 years,” Evers said. “WMBT is the most recent example of a long-time partner continuing to take advantage of CSI’s latest technologies.”
