SECURITY STATE BANK PARTNERS WITH MCCOY MYERS
PADUCAH, Ky. (November 18, 2008) – Security State Bank in Pearsall, Texas, recently signed data processing agreements with McCoy Myers and Associates (McM), an affiliate company of Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI).
Chartered in 1925, Security State Bank Pearsall (SSBP) began with $140,000 in total assets. Over the past 80-plus years, the bank has grown to $360 million in assets and has expanded its market to the neighboring community of Pleasanton, Texas.
The bank’s growth and expansion can be attributed, in part, to the leadership of former Texas governor and current SSBP board chairman, Dolph Briscoe, Jr. Briscoe’s expertise in sustained business growth can be traced back to the late 1940s when he tripled the size of his family’s ranch and became the largest individual land holder in the state of Texas.
The trailblazing principles Briscoe employed as a rancher and governor are evident in the day-to-day operations of SSBP, and they played a major role in the bank choosing to convert from its former data processor to McM’s in house solution.
“When we began looking for a data processing partner, we wanted to find a company that was attentive to our bank and our customers’ needs,” said Larry Neal, Senior Vice President at SSBP. “The thing that set McM apart from its competitors is the fact that their employees have worked in the banking environment. McM knows the issues that impact banks, and their solutions help us be better bankers. With McM’s products we can provide customers with information more readily and the company’s system integration allows each of our three branches to offer the same high level of customer service.”
According to Bill Maxwell, McM Vice President of Sales, McCoy Myers is proud to partner with a bank that upholds the principles McM values. “SSBP has a long history of active community involvement, fair and honest business ethics and dedication to superior customer service,” said Maxwell. “McM is dedicated to providing SSBP with the products and services it needs to continue upholding these standards.”
